What's on this iPhone
Your apps, keywords, rivals, daily ranks, research lists, Studio drafts, the change journal, your settings and, if you connected Apple Ads, its key. That's the whole list.
What leaves it
Only requests to Apple's public App Store endpoints, the same ones Safari makes when you browse the store. No account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers. App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected. While Apple Ads is connected: your keyword list, to Apple's Ads API, with your own key.
iCloud
If iCloud sync is on, the same data is stored in your own iCloud private database, which only your Apple ID can read. Winter Labs has no server and cannot see it.
Purchases
Handled by Apple. We receive no name, email or card details, only whether Pro is active.

Who
RankASO is made by Winter Labs Inc. ("we"). This policy covers the RankASO iPhone app and this website, rankaso.app.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter or the app computes is stored on your iPhone in the app's own database: the apps you track, keywords, rivals, daily rank snapshots and the facts behind each score, research lists, Studio drafts, the change journal, alerts and your settings. If you turn iCloud sync on, the same records are stored in your iCloud private database under your Apple ID, where Apple's CloudKit keeps them and where we have no access.
What the app sends, and to whom
- Apple's public App Store endpoints (itunes.apple.com, search hints and the reviews and chart feeds): the search terms you track and the app ids you look up, to read ranks, listings and reviews. These are the same requests the App Store app and Safari make. Apple's handling of them is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
- Apple Ads, only if you connect it: your keyword list and your app's id, sent from your iPhone to Apple's Ads API with the API key you created. The key is kept in your iPhone's Keychain, marked for this device only, and is never sent to us. Disconnecting, or "Delete everything", removes it.
Nothing is sent to Winter Labs. We run no server for the app. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier and no third-party SDK.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are sold by Apple through the App Store. We receive no name, email, address or payment details; the app only learns whether Pro is active for your Apple ID.
Notifications
Rank alerts and summaries are local notifications, created on your iPhone from your own data, and only after you allow them. No push server is involved.
Deleting your data
More → Privacy → Delete everything removes every record on the iPhone and, when sync is on, in your iCloud database, along with the Apple Ads key, backups and widget data. Deleting the app removes the local copy; the iCloud copy stays until you delete it from the app or from iCloud settings.
Children
RankASO is a tool for app developers and is rated 4+. It collects no information from anyone.
This website
rankaso.app is static pages served by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. Cloudflare may keep standard server logs for security, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new text appears here and in the app with the date below. Changes never add collection without a new consent step in the app.
